~ (ㅇ)/ㄹ 만학다 (Grammar)

Hi guys, long time no see! First post of 2018 is intermediate grammar.

Sources for my grammar would include the amazing ttmik (this is from lvl 7 lesson 3), and keytokorean.com. Also Korean Grammar in Use Intermediate. I don't take credit for these grammar notes, this is just a place for me to write down what grammar I learned each day (currently on a subway ride to work).

 Today's grammar is: ~ 을/ㄹ 만하다
Meaning is that something is worth doing/ doable/ possible - in the sense that it is bearable to do so. There is a nuance that the speaker is not totally satisfied, but it's worth doing or paying attention to.

Past tense: 을/ㄹ 만했다
Present tense: 을/ㄹ 만하다
Future tense: 을/ㄹ 만할 것이다

examples:
1. 이 책 읽을 만해요? Is this book worth reading?
2. 먹을 만해요. The taste is acceptable/ it's edible.
3. 새로운 스타트렉 영화가 진짜 불 만했어요.
The new star trek movie was really worth watching.

On a subway now but will go back and put in more examples when ive studied the corresponding chapter in Kgiu!
